In the event our county is affected by a Hurricane, Madison County Central School will be opened as a risk shelter to provide a safe structure for citizens of the county who reside in a mobile home or other unsafe structure. Please be advised that shelters should be considered last resort as they are only meant to provide safety and most often you are far more comfortable sheltering with a family member or friend during the event. Should you need to seek shelter, please make sure to bring any supplies you may need during the time you are sheltering including pillows, blankets, snacks, medications and hygiene items.
