NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MADISON COUNTY, FLORIDA

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Madison County, Florida will hold a special public meeting, to which all persons are invited to attend, as follows:

Date: Friday, November 20, 2020

Time: 4:00 P.M.

This meeting will be open to the public. Members of the public who wish to listen to and/or participate in the meetings may do so via telephone or computer. Members of the public wishing to participate in the meetings by phone should dial (877) 309-2073 (toll free) and use access code 265-220-797. Members of the public wishing to participate by computer can go to https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/265220797. During all sections of the meetings, the system will be “locked” which means that the members of the public on the phone may hear the meetings but will not be heard in the Board Meeting Room. During the meeting the Chair will call for public comment. At that time of the meeting, the Board will “unlock” the telephone system so that the members of the public on the phone may be heard in the Board Meeting Room and the Board will take comments from the public.

Purpose:
1. Consideration of Letter of Agreement for Development of Site on NE Centaury Way by Trulieve Centaury Way, LLC.
2. Resolution 2020-11-20; Supporting Affordable and Reliable High-Speed Internet Throughout Florida.
3. Update on CARES Act Funding and Small Business Grant Program Applications.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Madison County announces the availability of $175,000 from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act.
